Educational Qualifications:
Lecturer, IASE (Physical Science/Geography):
- Master’s Degree in Physics/Geography with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- M.Ed. with minimum 56% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- NET/SLET from UGC or Ph.D. in Education or in the concerned subject from any recognized University.
- Experience:
- Atleast 3 years experience of teaching in Secondary School TEI
- Proficiency in the use of ICT for educational purposes
- Ph.D. in Education from any recognized University.
Lecturer, CTE (English/Mathematics/Assamese/Geography/Education/Science/Social Science/History):
- Master’s Degree in English/ELT/Mathematics/Assamese/Geography/Education/Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Life Science/Bio Science/History/Political Science/Economics/Sociology with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University
- NET/SLET from UGC or Ph.D. in Education or in the concerned subject from any recognized University.
- Experience:
- Atleast 3 years experience of teaching in Secondary Schools/ TEI
- Proficiency in communication skills in English
- Proficiency in the use of ICT for educational purpose
- Ph.D. in Education from any recognized University.
Age Limit (01 January 2024): The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years

Audit Officer (Local Fund):
- The minimum Educational Qualification of a candidate shall be a Graduate from a recognized University by the Government
- An Assistant Audit Officer under the control of Director of Audit (Local Fund), Assam who have completed atleast 3 (three) years of service as on 01.01.2023 are eligible to appear in the examination.
- A Certificate to the effect issued by the Appointing Authority shall have to be furnished along with the application.
Age Limit: The age of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation /HSLC/HSSLC Admit Card or Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council which is to be uploaded while filling up the online application. No other document shall be accepted.

Selection Process of APSC Jobs:
- The scheme of selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Stenographer Grade II will comprise the following two parts
- Stenographer Proficiency Test.
- Objective Type Written Test.
Stenographer Proficiency Test
- Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in the Stenography Proficiency Test at 100 wpm in English and 90 wpm in Language (Assamese, Bengali and Hindi) as follows
- Stenographer Grade-II:
- Stenography Speed: 100 WPM (English), 90 WPM (Language)
- Time for dictation of trial passage: 2 min
- Time for dictation of test passage: 5 min
- Time for revision of test passage by candidate: 10 min
- Time for transcription: 60 min
- The minimum qualifying mark in the Stenography Proficiency Test shall be 40 marks
- The candidates qualifying in the Stenography Proficiency Test shall be shortlisted for Objective Type Written Test
- Against each vacancy, four candidates who have qualified in the Stenography Proficiency Test will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the Stenography Proficiency Test who will have to appear in the Objective Type Written Test

- The Objective Type Written Test shall be of 2 hours duration
